Limited space is available for current livestock exhibitors ONLY to camp in the Livestock Exhibitor Campgrounds.  Registration and payment will be required in advance.  
  
Registration must be made in the name and address of the exhibitor as it will appear on the entry form.  Any camper that does not have an entry on file after the entry deadline will not be allowed to camp in the Livestock Exhibitor Campgrounds.

No one is guaranteed a camping spot.  Please remember that registrants must have an entry on file for this year’s State Fair.  All others, even those who have camped in the Livestock Exhibitor Campgrounds in the past, but who are not current livestock exhibitors, will be referred to the regular Campgrounds.

Return Campers

• Camping spots will be offered first to those who submitted a camping registration form, exhibited livestock and camped during the 2007 Fair.  Anyone who camped but did not exhibit livestock in 2007 will be treated as a new camper in 2008.

• A registration form will be sent on or around May 1 to return campers.

• Registration forms must be postmarked by June 1.  Registrations will be accepted on a space available basis only.  Spots will be assigned according to postmark, dates requested and camper size.

• Return campers are not guaranteed a spot or the same spot as last year.

New Campers

• To request a registration form, contact the Iowa State Fair Entry Department between January 1 and July 1 stating your interest.
