Suzy Bogguss burst onto the country music stage in the late eighties, surprising listeners with her unique voice and strong, independent style. Hit singles like “Someday Soon,” “Outbound Plane,” “Aces” and “Drive South” propelled Bogguss into immediate success in the country music industry. Throughout her sixteen-year career, she has received numerous accolades including an award for the Academy of Country Music’s Top Female Vocalist of the Year, the Country Music Association’s Horizon Award and a Grammy for her collaborative efforts on a 1995 tribute album.

An Illinois native, Bogguss spent her childhood singing in the church choir and learning to play piano and guitar.
