The Iowa State Fair will celebrate the Red Hat Society on its opening day, August 7, 2008. Don your red hat and purple outfit and join us at the Iowa State Fair for a day of fun and frivolity.  

Bring your chapter and enjoy all the fun-filled Fair activities and meet Red Hatters from all over the Midwest.  In addition to the endless activities included with admission, there will be the first ever Red Hat contest in Pioneer Hall and a chance to meet and mingle with other members in the Family Theaters.

The Marvelous Hats Contest for Red Hatters will take place in Pioneer Hall at 3 p.m. (registration begins at 2 p.m.)  All participants must sign up prior to the contest. The contest will consist of two categories, Fancy and Frivolous and Creative and Cooky, so use your imagination!
